BJP Plans Nationwide Protests Over Rahul Gandhi's PM Residence Demonstration

political confrontation between the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress is expected to intensify as the BJP prepares to organise nationwide protests outside Congress offices over Rahul Gandhi's recent demonstration near Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence.

The protests come amid the continuing political row over the alleged NEET paper leak, which has dominated Parliament and public discourse in recent weeks.

BJP to Stage Protests Across the Country

According to party sources, the BJP plans to hold demonstrations outside Congress headquarters in several states, accusing Rahul Gandhi and the Congress of creating a law-and-order situation during Tuesday's protest near the Prime Minister's residence.

The ruling party has alleged that the Congress attempted to compromise the Prime Minister's security and criticised the Opposition's method of political protest.

The demonstrations are expected to be organised across multiple cities as the BJP seeks to highlight what it describes as irresponsible political conduct.

NEET Paper Leak Remains Political Flashpoint

The alleged NEET paper leak continues to remain at the centre of the political confrontation.

The Congress has been demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, alleging accountability over examination irregularities.

Rahul Gandhi has also called for discussions on the issue in Parliament and expanded his demands to include the resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The government, however, has maintained that it is prepared to discuss the issue in Parliament while rejecting the Opposition's allegations.

Government Responds to Opposition Charges

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has accused the Congress of politicising the issue and using students for political purposes.

The BJP has argued that the Opposition is repeatedly changing its demands while attempting to build political momentum around the examination controversy.

The disagreement has resulted in repeated disruptions during the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament.

Opposition Leaders Continue Support for Protests

The demonstrations over the examination issue have received support from several Opposition leaders.

Arvind Kejriwal visited the protest site at Jantar Mantar, while Uddhav Thackeray also expressed support by participating in the agitation.

Rahul Gandhi has remained actively involved in the protests, raising the issue both inside Parliament and at public demonstrations.

Government Holds Talks With Sonam Wangchuk

Meanwhile, the Centre has initiated discussions with activist Sonam Wangchuk, who is continuing his indefinite hunger strike while receiving treatment at a hospital in Gurugram.

Union Ministers Jitendra Singh and JP Nadda met Wangchuk in what is being viewed as an effort to ease tensions and open channels for dialogue.

Parliament Expected to Witness Fresh Confrontation

With both the BJP and the Congress stepping up political activities, Parliament is expected to witness another day of intense debate and disruptions.

The NEET paper leak issue has evolved into a major political confrontation, with demonstrations continuing outside Parliament even as lawmakers clash inside both Houses.
