Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed the government's commitment to taking strict action against those involved in the alleged NEET examination paper leak while addressing the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Parliamentary Party meeting, also known as Mangal Milan, at the Parliament House complex in New Delhi.

The Prime Minister stressed the need for coordinated efforts by all stakeholders to prevent paper leaks in future examinations and to protect the interests of students across the country.

Government Vows Tough Action Against Accused

According to Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, Prime Minister Modi said the government acted immediately after receiving information about the alleged NEET paper leak.

He stated that those allegedly involved in the case have been arrested, with 13 accused currently in judicial custody. The Prime Minister emphasized that all individuals found responsible should face the strictest action under the law.

The government, he added, remains committed to ensuring transparency and fairness in the country's examination system.

Focus on Preventing Future Paper Leaks

During the meeting, Prime Minister Modi highlighted the importance of strengthening the examination process to prevent similar incidents in the future.

He said the government has already introduced stricter measures to improve examination security and called for cooperation among educational institutions, examination agencies, and law enforcement authorities to eliminate paper leaks.

The Prime Minister noted that safeguarding the future of students remains one of the government's key priorities.

PM Modi Speaks on Free Trade Agreements

Prime Minister Modi also addressed India's Free Trade Agreements (FTAs), stating that the interests of Indian farmers have been protected in every trade agreement signed by the country.

He said each agreement has been negotiated while keeping farmers' welfare and the nation's overall interests at the forefront, reaffirming the government's commitment to supporting the agricultural sector.

Appeal for Cooperation During Parliament Session

Referring to the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament, the Prime Minister urged members of the NDA to play a constructive role in legislative proceedings.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju appealed to opposition parties to cooperate in ensuring the smooth functioning of Parliament. He said that despite political differences, all elected representatives share the responsibility of serving the nation and protecting the interests of the country's youth.

NDA Congratulates Prime Minister Modi

During the meeting, leaders of NDA alliance partners passed a congratulatory resolution recognising Prime Minister Narendra Modi for becoming the longest-serving elected Prime Minister of India.

The resolution acknowledged his tenure and leadership while party leaders extended their congratulations during the parliamentary meeting.
