President Droupadi Murmu to Address Nation Ahead of 80th Independence Day

President Droupadi Murmu will deliver her address to the nation at 7 PM ahead of India’s 80th Independence Day, with the speech available across national and regional broadcast networks.

President Droupadi Murmu will address the nation at 7 PM on the eve of India’s 80th Independence Day.

The President’s address will be broadcast across the national network of Akashvani and telecast on all Doordarshan channels. The television broadcast will begin with the Hindi version, followed by the English version.

Doordarshan will later broadcast the address in regional languages through its regional channels, allowing audiences across different parts of the country to follow the President’s message in their preferred languages.

Regional Broadcasts Scheduled

Akashvani will also broadcast regional-language versions of the President’s address at 9:30 PM through its respective regional networks.

The nationwide broadcast is expected to reach audiences across India as the country prepares to celebrate its 80th Independence Day.

President Murmu’s Independence Day-eve address traditionally highlights major national developments, achievements and challenges while outlining important issues concerning the country and its citizens.
