CJP Backs Jharkhand Students Protesting JPSC and JSSC Exam Irregularities

The Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has extended its support to students protesting against alleged irregularities in recruitment examinations conducted by the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) and the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC).

CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke said he had spoken with protesting students and assured them that the party stands with their demand for a transparent and fair recruitment process.

Abhijeet Dipke Voices Support

In a post on social media, Dipke stated that CJP fully supports the students' movement in Jharkhand. He said the party believes candidates deserve fair opportunities based on merit and that concerns over recruitment examinations should be addressed through an impartial investigation.

The statement comes after CJP previously participated in demonstrations over alleged examination irregularities in other parts of the country.

Students Continue Protest in Ranchi

Hundreds of students have been staging an indefinite protest in Ranchi for several days, alleging irregularities in the 14th JPSC Combined Preliminary Examination, JSSC-CGL, and other state recruitment tests.

The protesters are demanding greater transparency in the recruitment process and accountability for those responsible for the alleged irregularities.

Large gatherings and demonstrations have continued in the state capital, with students carrying banners and raising slogans in support of their demands.

Demand for Independent Investigation

One of the key demands of the protesters is an independent investigation into the recruitment examinations conducted by JPSC and JSSC over the past several years.

Many students have expressed dissatisfaction with the ongoing state-level inquiry and are seeking a probe by central investigative agencies. They argue that an independent investigation would strengthen public confidence in the recruitment process.

Call for Recruitment Reforms

Along with an investigation, students are demanding reforms in the examination system to improve transparency and fairness.

Among their proposals is the introduction of a "Not Attempted" option on OMR answer sheets. Protesters also want stricter measures to prevent examination irregularities and ensure that recruitment is based solely on merit.

Torchlight March Highlights Growing Movement

Thousands of students also participated in a torchlight procession through Ranchi to highlight their concerns. The march reflected growing public support for demands related to recruitment transparency and examination reforms.

Student groups have warned that they will intensify their protests if their demands are not addressed by the state government.
