Rahul Gandhi Assures Jharkhand Students of Support Over JPSC-JSSC Exam Irregularities

Congress MP and Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi spoke with students protesting in Ranchi over alleged irregularities in JPSC-JSSC recruitment examinations and assured them of his support.

Gandhi spoke to the protesting aspirants over the phone and listened to their concerns. Students have been demanding cancellation of the disputed examination, a fair investigation into the alleged irregularities and reforms in the recruitment process.

Students Demand Cancellation and Investigation

Student leaders said they informed Gandhi about their key demands during the conversation. They told him that the examination should be cancelled and that allegations surrounding the recruitment process should be investigated properly.

Student leader Piyush Kumar said Gandhi assured the protesters that their concerns would be raised with the state government.

Students are also seeking changes in the recruitment system to prevent similar complaints from arising in future examinations.

Protesters Seek Congress Intervention

Student leader Ravindra Paswan said Gandhi asked about the situation in Ranchi and listened to the grievances of the aspirants.

Paswan also reminded Gandhi that Congress is part of the ruling alliance in Jharkhand and requested the party to intervene in the matter.

According to Paswan, Gandhi asked students to send their demands to him and said he would make efforts to ensure that Chief Minister Hemant Soren speaks with their representatives.

The protesters are now waiting for further information from the state government about a possible meeting.

Congress Says Talks With Government Are Underway

Ranchi District Congress president Kumar Raja said Gandhi had already expressed support for the protesting students through a video message.

Raja said Congress leaders had discussed the matter with Chief Minister Hemant Soren and that the issue was being taken up seriously.

He described the discussions with the Jharkhand government as positive and expressed confidence that a solution could be reached.

Congress also said efforts were being made to establish a stronger recruitment system so that complaints related to examination irregularities could be avoided in the future.

Students Await Next Step

JPSC-JSSC aspirants continue to seek action on their demands in Ranchi. Their main concerns remain the alleged examination irregularities, transparency in recruitment and the need for an impartial investigation.

With Rahul Gandhi extending support and Congress leaders engaging with the Jharkhand government, students are now waiting for a formal response and a possible meeting with Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
