Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) has rejected the Centre's offer to resume dialogue over the ongoing NEET paper leak protests, according to government sources. The development comes despite Prime Minister Narendra Modi announcing the establishment of fast-track courts to ensure speedy trials in paper leak cases.

The decision signals that the standoff between the protesters and the government remains unresolved.

Centre's Offer for Dialogue Declined

According to government sources, the Centre reached out to the CJP leadership with a proposal to continue discussions over the ongoing protests.

However, the offer was reportedly declined, with the protest group continuing its agitation and insisting that its key demands have not been addressed.

CJP Says Announcement Misses the Root Cause

Responding to the Prime Minister's announcement, CJP representative Ashutosh Ranka said the proposed fast-track courts focus on punishment after paper leaks occur rather than addressing the reasons behind repeated examination irregularities.

Ranka alleged that corruption and administrative failures within the examination system were responsible for recurring paper leaks. He also alleged that accountability at the highest levels was necessary to prevent similar incidents in the future.

These allegations have been made by the CJP and have not been independently verified.

The government says the proposed legal measures are aimed at strengthening accountability and preventing future examination-related irregularities.
