Iran Warns of ‘Full-Scale Invasion’ if US Continues Military Campaign

Iran has issued one of its strongest warnings since the latest conflict began, with senior military adviser Mohsen Rezaee saying the country could launch a "full-scale invasion" if the United States continues its military operations over the coming days.

Rezaee, a senior adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, said Tehran would move beyond proportional retaliation if the conflict intensifies further.

Iran Threatens Stronger Military Response

In a post on X, Mohsen Rezaee warned that Iran would adopt a more aggressive military strategy if US attacks continue.

He said Iran would no longer limit its response to retaliatory strikes and claimed that "no political border will provide security against Iran's offensive forces" if the new strategy is implemented.

Rezaee also declared that, from Iran's perspective, "both diplomacy and negotiations, as well as war, are over," signalling a tougher stance amid the ongoing conflict.

US-Iran Conflict Continues to Escalate

The warning comes as the United States and Iran continue exchanging attacks across the Middle East.

Recent US military operations targeted Iranian infrastructure, including bridges, energy facilities and strategic military sites, while Iran has responded with missile and drone attacks targeting US allies in the Gulf region.

Military operations have increasingly focused on the Strait of Hormuz, a critical global shipping route through which nearly one-fifth of the world's oil supply passes.

Missile Attacks on Gulf Countries

Iran has launched missile attacks targeting Qatar and Kuwait, both of which host US military facilities.

Kuwaiti authorities reported damage to a power generation and water desalination plant following one of the attacks, while regional air defence systems remained on high alert.

The exchange of strikes has heightened fears of a broader regional conflict involving multiple countries across the Middle East.

Oil Prices Rise Amid Growing Tensions

The conflict has also affected global energy markets.

Oil prices climbed above $86 per barrel after shipping activity through the Strait of Hormuz declined, raising concerns about potential disruptions to global oil supplies.

Energy analysts continue to monitor developments closely as military operations expand across the region.

Conflict Shows No Sign of Easing

Despite international calls for restraint, military operations continue on both sides.

With diplomatic efforts stalled and attacks intensifying, the risk of further escalation remains high, increasing concerns over regional stability and global energy security.
