PM Modi to Chair High-Level Meeting with Secretaries of All Central Ministries; Reforms and Ease of Doing Business on Agenda

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair a high-level meeting with the Secretaries of all Central Ministries at 4:00 PM in New Delhi to review governance, administrative reforms, and the government's roadmap for achieving the vision of Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047.

The meeting is expected to focus on improving the Ease of Doing Business, Ease of Living, and accelerating next-generation reforms aimed at making government services more efficient, transparent, and citizen-centric.

Focus on Governance and Administrative Reforms

According to government sources, the meeting will review the progress made by various ministries on key reform initiatives and assess measures designed to improve public service delivery.

Several ministry secretaries are expected to present updates on their departments, highlighting achievements, ongoing reforms, and people-centric initiatives implemented over the past year.

Prime Minister Modi is also expected to emphasize faster decision-making, better coordination among ministries, and timely completion of government projects.

Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living to Remain Top Priorities

A major focus of the meeting will be strengthening India's Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living initiatives.

The Prime Minister is likely to review reforms aimed at simplifying regulations, improving governance, reducing bureaucratic delays, and making government services more accessible for citizens and businesses.

Officials are also expected to discuss next-generation reforms that can further improve administrative efficiency while supporting economic growth.

Review of India's Economic Performance

The government is expected to discuss how policy reforms can sustain high economic growth in the coming years.

Vision of Viksit Bharat 2047

Prime Minister Modi has repeatedly stressed that the country's long-term objective is to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, marking 100 years of Independence.

The meeting is expected to align ministry-level reforms with this national vision by improving governance, strengthening public service delivery, and creating more opportunities for businesses, entrepreneurs, and young people.

Officials are also likely to receive directions to eliminate delays in government work and ensure faster implementation of welfare schemes and development projects.
