Rajnath Singh Says Government Committed to Students, Criticises Political Use of Youth Protests

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said the Central Government remains fully committed to fulfilling the aspirations of students and young people while responding to the ongoing protests in Delhi over education-related issues.

Speaking to the media in New Delhi, Singh said the government understands the concerns of students and is prepared to listen to every genuine issue raised by the youth.

Government Ready to Address Students' Concerns

Rajnath Singh stated that the Centre is sensitive to the feelings and expectations of students and believes that their concerns deserve attention.

He said the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is focused on ensuring student welfare, educational opportunities, and youth development.

According to Singh, the government remains open to constructive dialogue and is willing to address issues through democratic processes.

Opposition Accused of Politicising Student Protests

The Defence Minister alleged that certain political groups are attempting to use students and young people to advance their own political agendas.

He claimed that instead of working towards solutions, some Opposition leaders are misleading the public and encouraging political confrontation.

Singh urged that student issues should be handled responsibly and should not become a platform for political interests.

Government Calls for Debate in Parliament

Commenting on the repeated disruptions during the ongoing Parliament session, Rajnath Singh said the government has expressed its willingness to hold meaningful discussions on every important issue.

He criticised the Opposition for taking political disagreements to the streets instead of participating in parliamentary debates.

According to Singh, Parliament remains the appropriate forum for resolving national issues through discussion and democratic consensus.

Political Tensions Continue Over Student Issues

The remarks come amid continuing demonstrations in Delhi over examination-related concerns, with Opposition parties demanding accountability from the government.

The issue has triggered repeated protests, political rallies, and disruptions in Parliament, making it one of the major political debates during the current Monsoon Session.

The government has reiterated that it remains committed to engaging with students while maintaining that political differences should be resolved through parliamentary discussion.
