Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL) and Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in mineral exploration across India. The agreement is expected to support the country’s growing demand for critical and strategic minerals needed for industries, energy security, and future technologies.

The partnership reflects India’s increasing focus on securing important mineral resources at a time when global competition for critical minerals is rising rapidly.
