Andhra CM Naidu Says India’s Voice Gained Confidence at BRICS Summit

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu praised India’s successful hosting of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi, saying India’s voice is being heard with greater confidence and respect around the world.

India hosted the two-day summit on September 12 and 13. Leaders from 11 BRICS member countries and 10 partner countries attended the event, along with representatives from international organisations.

India Emerges as a Platform for Global Dialogue

Naidu said the summit brought together some of the world’s leading economies at a time of major global changes. He described India as a trusted platform where countries with different views could meet, discuss important issues and search for common ground.

His comments highlighted India’s growing role in bringing developing and emerging economies together on major global issues.

New Delhi Declaration Focuses on Global Growth

The New Delhi Declaration placed emphasis on stronger multilateral institutions, resilient supply chains, innovation and sustainable development.

Greater cooperation among emerging economies was also highlighted. These areas are expected to play an important role in shaping economic growth and global prosperity in the coming decades.

Naidu said India’s ability to build agreement while also supporting the interests of developing nations showed the country’s growing economic strength and international standing.

BRICS Strengthens India’s Global Position

India’s BRICS leadership provides an opportunity to deepen cooperation with major emerging economies across trade, technology, development and global governance.

The participation of member and partner countries also gave New Delhi a wider platform for discussions on economic and international challenges.

India Seeks Greater Cooperation Among Emerging Economies

Naidu's remarks underline the importance of India’s role in promoting cooperation among developing countries. Issues such as supply-chain resilience, technological innovation and sustainable development are becoming increasingly important for emerging markets.

The BRICS Summit also allowed India to present itself as a country capable of hosting major international discussions and helping nations with different interests work toward shared goals.

India’s successful hosting of the summit, according to Naidu, reflects its growing influence and its expanding role in shaping discussions on the future of the global economy.
